slow upstart - movement forward (whee!!)

WEEK 97 - POST 3

Thursday.  Feeling better.

Finally had a bit of movement in terms of things that needed to be done.

This morning I drove my spouse to work (so that I could have the car) and I realized THIS is what I need.  If I had just gotten out of the house on Tuesday, I might have been able to get reconnected and energized for my work.

Also realized that yesterday I was beating myself up for not feeling great.  Rather than just accepting and allowing, I was trying to figure out what I could do to change things.  UGH.  The real answer would have been: just accept and allow.

So many little truth bombs.

So here is my recipe for regrounding - reenergizing:

- Move (dance, jog, jumping jacks, anything) that helps move the stuck energy and heaviness.

- A little laughter wouldn't be a bad thing either (singing last week - did wonders because not only did I sing but I could laugh at myself too!)

- Accept and allow.  Just allow - wallow deeper, harder, get in bed - be with it.  It's OK.  xo

- Get outside!!

Great news here is that I finally sent my website changes request to the web designer.  So THAT project is finally moving!!  Using the cut-out pieces (in Week 95) was the first break through and then I just hit upon the word finally "Offerings" that felt right (Whew!!) and finally decided on which extra sections to highlight on the main page.  Once it started flowing it was easy - sent the email with the list of tasks to be done last night.  YAY!!

And I got 9 more instagram followers due to the guest blog post.  WOW.  I've had 16 more in the past three weeks (but some of those aren't genuine).  The ones I got yesterday do look genuine.  COOL!!

And the really crazy thing is that I'm reading about the "Return of Blogs" and how social media is losing its grip and blogs are really what the world needs more of!  WOW!  Complete change from the beginning of Week 95 where I got worried that blogs were losing their luster to video and social media.  (BLURG)

And I also finally did my social media post reaching out to the local author - I wonder if my work will resonate with her.  She did mention that she wanted more (of what I offer).  No matter what happens - at least I did it!  :  )

What did they say - get more failure under my belt?  Yes!  Let's do it!!
