WEEK 108 - POST 4

Thursday was an amazing day.  It flowed, I felt really alive and I was really happy and confident.

First off, I had a great meeting (part time job) where I helped someone with their data management issues and brainstormed on how to support staff better.

Then I went to visit an entrepreneur friend who has an office in the neighbourhood and it was inspiring to see her lovely office space - lots of white with big windows.  It was great chatting with her and her assistant and I almost couldn't stop talking.  She always makes me feel very supported.

After that I had a meeting at noon and when I arrived, there was a farm stand outside, so I bought some strawberries to bring to the meeting for "lunch".  During the meeting when they started talking Federal Government and someone suggested something that just didn't make sense, I knew I had something to contribute.  I felt experienced.

Then after the phone meeting, I got a tour of that new office and we discussed next steps, plans and how things are going with the part-time contract.  The book sale that they sometimes have was on again so I bought five books ($1 each).

When I got back I had one last call, where again, I knew what would be best in terms of helping this NGO out and was glad that I could make some connections.

WOW.  It was great feeling I had lots to contribute and I loved being inspired by these offices.

Friday's lawyers meeting went well also.  Yay!!
