WEEK 102 - POST 2
Today was a part-time work day and it went really well. I worked solidly for three hours and figured out how to do task tracking sheet to make sure I'm on top of everything and I talked to both the local collaborator and the (other city) executive director. They both had good things to say about my work and I was really happy to hear some feedback in terms of writing great grant applications and that the local collaborator does not care where I go to print - you are doing a great job they tell me.
WHEW!
Please review this when you need a boost, dear girl!
This week I'm just feeling so much more grounded, like I know who is supporting and cheering and caring for me, like I am part of this neighbourhood (and by that I really mean belonging to "my" community - however it is defined). Like I should be here and people are happy that I am here.
I decided that my work day ended around 3:30 and I caught up on the phone with two friends and I've emailed two people that I'm finding are becoming good friends (who know - time will tell) but I feel supported enough by my friends (local and far) that however these two new people turn out - it will all be ok. And there will always be more opportunities to connect to other people.
