getting stuff done but not "the" stuff

WEEK 74 - POST 2

I was thinking I might check in all four days that I'm planning to focus intently on my entrepreneur work.  (Although it's still not going well!) But even if I'm not "working" while my partner is away, I think I'll check in to see how I'm feeling - where my head is.

Yesterday I ended up spending time on researching the oracle decks (ordering one), a poetry book and kuffles (I found the photo!), looking into holiday craft fairs, going to the dentist, researching oral health afterwards (ordering mouthwash and toothpaste), doing stuff in the backyard (planting mint and emptying rain barrel) and then getting ready to go out for a jam packed evening: dinner (forgot cash!), book reading (should buy a book next time!), Mìwàte (translated from Anishinaabe as “dazzle with light”) viewing.  I didn't get home until after 10 pm and then into bed at 11:30 (but again I looked at my phone - was it research, IG... I can't remember!)

Today is the same - very distracted: researching health again in the morning and then some stuff I "want", plus some research for task list (where to get rid of plant pots), read about the controversy of the light show and Victoria Island and then a new pop-up museum and then Alex Janvier...  Also finally ate the tomato soup I made and looking at points in VIAPreference, plus fixing lists, etc.  And just went out to do errands (cat food, health products).

I find I'm not hungry but wish I was also feeling inspired to exercise but instead I feel negative about not doing any "work".

I'm almost wondering if I should change my focus for this week - just concentrate on paperwork, plus purging, organizing house so that once V. is back I can be more focused??  Something to mull over.
