itching to get back at it!

WEEK 111 - POST 4

OK.  This week hasn't gone as planned (again).  

(I should really stop using the "again" or the other "I've been saying this for two years now".  It feels like I'm just being honest and acknowledging that I'm still stuck but it's really a shaming tactic and I think it hurts my progress.  Life is what it is.  I need to stop judging it!)

This week hasn't gone as planned.  

There was the Croatian game yesterday (and the drop-in medical apt and shopping for clothes before I got on the bus to get home at 1 pm) and the phone call with the lawyers.  Then the short half-day Tuesday (as my friend came over for lunch and then I had physio) really ate into my time also.  

I really just need to ensure that I'm better at prioritizing things from now on.  It really is hitting home that I just can't schedule friends during the day!  (Even the scheduling of meeting up takes time!)  I was also thinking that I need to do a few things earlier in the week because by Thursday/Friday, if I haven't done "enough" I start stressing and many of the "optional" things (going for a walk, swimming, taking care of my body, going to a coffee shop, taking a break) go out the window.

Things are getting better overall.  I'm really starting to get this "working at home" thing and am interested to see how it goes this winter!

But first of all let's enjoy the rest of the summer!!

I'm itching to get back the blog today but first I need to do emails for the part-time job.  But I think I can do both!!  Let's do this!!  xo
