WEEK 87 - POST 1

Back from a week off.

Had a case of the jealousies yesterday.  Whenever I see anyone talking about anything close to my topic (area of "expertise") I just start panicking and thinking there is not enough room for us both, even if truly our work doesn't overlap.  I think it's really because I haven't found my tribe.  :  (

It's also partly due to the fact that I haven't figured out "what works" yet and it's also that I haven't really gotten into a good routine for my work days.

I think to find your tribe you have to really write from the core and be vulnerable.  I think a larger general audience will respond to "fun" but it's hard to get them to keep coming back.  A smaller focused audience will come back but you have to offer the goods.

UGH.  Still struggling.

OK - here is what's up this week:  I have 3 - 4 more weeks of part-time work, I will continue writing grants to hopefully get some funding support by mid-April or May.  That gives me about eight weeks to focus on my entrepreneur biz.

Let's just have fun, fun, fun.  No worries about where this is going yet!!



What's Inspiring You This Week: the reminder that I need to be celebrating all these messages about my topic.  the more people talk about it in general the more relevant it will be for everyone.  and that's all a good thing.  xo

Where Are you Stuck This Week: fear is grinding at me again.  fear I won't find my tribe, fear that I will never figure out how to monetize this, fear that I will never be ready by more than 100 people.  so much fear.  (let's honour the fear by acknowledging that it wouldn't be here unless you really DID care about all of this.  xo)

What Is The Message You Need To Hear: remember the finance guru who was excited to work with another finance guru and didn't see it as competition?  let's emulate her!!  be open to all opportunities and just keep your head down and do the (fun) work.  someone WILL come to help you get the message out.  (let's manifest that!)

What Will You Commit To For This Week: start experimenting with work schedule, honour my time during the day (work hours) don't waste them!
